Peter Ward interviewed for Lives in the Law Podcast

By

Peter Ward was interviewed earlier this month for the William & Lonsdale - Lives in the Law  podcast, a Melbourne-based podcast that explores the legal ecosystem in Victoria and the fascinating people that make it tick.

Peter was the podcast's special guest for episode 30. During the show Peter discusses his life and career including:

  • how he had to work incredibly hard to get started in his career, knowing no one who worked in law and having no real connections. Adding to the challenge was the fact Peter was born with only 10% vision.

  • meeting the legendary Frank Galbally and starting his career at Galbally & O'Bryan.

  • his career at Galbally & O'Bryan as a criminal defence lawyer and working on some of the most high profile cases in Victorian history, including the Walsh Street police killings in 1988.
