Marie Costa LLB (Hons)

Marie was admitted to practice in 2006 after completing her Professional Legal Training at the Leo Cussen Institute.

Marie commenced employment as a lawyer at Galbally & O’Bryan in 2006 and has practised exclusively in criminal law since then. Marie works with Paul Galbally and has been involved in the preparation of indictable matters ranging from corporate crime and complex fraud, through to terrorism offences. She is regarded as a very thorough and technically astute lawyer.

Marie represents clients in the Children’s Court, Magistrates’ Court, County Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia.

Marie is focused on achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.

She is currently undertaking her Master of Laws at Monash University.
